Galatians chapter 6 provides an example of how inward perspectives form outward actions. In Galatia, the Judaizers were allowing their flawed perspectives to shape their actions in ways contrary to the gospel. If unchecked, we have the potential to fall victim to the same pattern. One of the major issues affecting the churches of Galatia was disunity. In the text today, Paul provides a seemingly simple process to help unify the body of believers. However, Paul’s remedy is a very sensitive and delicate process that involves restoring brothers and sisters who are caught in sin. We invite you to listen in and learn how to best restore our brothers and sisters for the glory of God.

Paul says we are free from the law, but what do we do with that freedom? Paul says we cannot satisfy the desires of our flesh, but rather we are to walk by the Spirit and grow in Christlikeness.

In Galatians 5, Paul challenges the churches of Galatia to see that it is possible to be set free but continue to live in bondage. In much of the same way, the church today struggles to live in the freedom Christ has secured, and like the world, we continue to experience anxiety, fear, guilt, depression, and weariness. So how do we as Christians gain freedom from this bondage? We encourage you to join in with us as we discover how to stand firm in the truth of the gospel and experience a yoke that brings rest!
